Hello! I’m Devin Truong and I was born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I come from a family of 6: my mom, my dad, my 2 sisters, and my brother. Some of my  hobbies are playing games, playing volleyball, spending time with my family, going to the gym, and volunteering for my temple’s lion dance. I love traveling and exploring with one of my goals to be able to visit all 50 states. Currently, I’ve been to only 13 states but plan to reach this goal before I graduate college. Being involved with my temple, Pho Minh Buddhist Temple, is very important to me which is why I try to be as involved as I can, like being apart of their volunteer group, The Noble Eight Lion Dance. As a member of the lion dance, I am the head of the lion and also play percussion when I am not apart of the lion. Additionally, I am a big time collector with have a huge collection of funko pops and pokemon cards. I’ve collected pokemon cards for as I am currently a senior at Southside High School, and will be graduating in May of 2024 in the top 6% of my class. After high school, I plan to attend the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith to further my passion in computer science.
